Only two years after his first album, the multifaceted guitarist comes back with ‘Équilibre’!
Written at home instinctively, the solo guitar pieces on this album form a shape-shifting collection whose common denominator is spontaneity and sobriety. The voluntary simplicity shows in the writing phase, in the arrangements and in the production choices but also in the recording process, which was done mostly in one take, without overdubs. With this new record, Dièze continues to blaze a trail between American minimalism and pop sensibility.

In The Mushroom Type, Fabiola casts off the moorings of careerism to get on the little bike that rolls around in his head, preferring creative emergence to the sirens of conformism. 'Équilibre' (or 'balance' in English) is the second album of Dièze, the solo project of Diego Leyder, the restless guitarist of the bands BRNS, Namdose and Fondry. Diego continues to blaze a trail between American minimalism and pop sensibility.
From a bewitching lullaby to a light waltz, from a wild cavalcade to a western movie soundtrack and spacey moments, these eleven tracks celebrate eclecticism, testifying the versatility of the composer and evoking at times the music of Dustin Wong, Steve Reich or The Durutti Column.
For the first time, Diego invited other musiciens to support the electric guitar with a cello, a double bass, a clarinet and a vibraphone. Aurélie Muller (Soy Un Caballo, Blondy Brownie, Trésor, River Into Lake) et Nicholas Yates (Fondry, One Horse Land, Thomas Champagne Trio) are adding textures and colours without spoiling the minimalist intention.

‘II’ is the new album of Romain Benard. Since 2018, the French musician and native of Vendôme - well known for his indie rock duo with his sister Ropoporose, has been written songs under the obedience of a minimalist art pop. Consisting of twelve songs, the new album is mostly sung in French. Romain He played and recorded it alone in Brussels, with the contributions of some musician friends - Antoine Meersseman (BRNS) on bass, and Aurélien Auchain (Mountain Bike) on guitar. Francoiz Breut is also singing on ‘Je suis à Découvert’.
